Information Minister, VON DG to grace 4.0 Advertising Industry Colloquium

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris and the Director General of Voice of Nigeria (VON), Malam Jibrin Baba Ndace are amongst distinguished personalities expected to grace the fourth coming Advertising Industry Colloquium 4.0 been slated to hold this week in Lagos.
The Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON) has announced the Honourable Minister of Information and National Orientation as Chief Host of the Advertising Colloquium , while VON DG, Malam Jibrin Baba Ndace would serve as Chairman of the event.
The Coloqquim, Themed : The Future of Advertising : Roles of Platforms , People and Regulations is scheduled to hold on August 6, 2026 at the D’Podium Event Center, 13 B, Aromire Avenue, Off Allen Junction, Ikeja, Lagos. The Coloqquim will expectedly bring together key stakeholders from across Nigeria’s advertising and Marketing ecosystem, including advertisers, advertising agencies, academia, media organizations, creative professionals, technology platforms, regulators, policymakers, and other relevant stakeholders. The annual event provides the platform for Town and Gown Dialogue, to advance advertising and Marketing Communications Scholarship and professionalism.
The event is part of ARCON ‘s ongoing efforts to facilitate meaningful conversations on emerging issues shaping the advertising industry and to promote a regulatory environment that supports professionalism , innovation, responsible advertising and sustainable industry growth.
The participation of the Honourable Minister as host underscores the strategic importance of the advertising industry to Nigeria’s information and communications ecosystem, and reflects the Federal government’s commitment to strengthening responsible Communications, promoting national development and fostering an enabling environment for the creative and advertising sector.
As Chairman of the event, Malam Jibrin Baba Ndace is to provide strategic leadership and lend his wealth of experience and distinguished standing to the success of the advertising industry Colloquium (AIC).
The Coloqquim is expected to feature keynote presentations, Panel discussion and Interactive sessions focused on the theme and its implications to the future of advertising and strategic communication in Nigeria.
The event represents an important milestone in the industry’s collective effort to close the gap between the Town and the Gown.
